Flattened

Dear Mama,

I’m sorry for flattening the couch cushions.

But you can’t be mad! You see, I’m little, and you know how much I love to sit up on my “perch.” And it’s just so comfy, I can’t help but snooze here, too.

I’ll work on evening out the other ones… at least they’ll all be equally flattened, right? Any time you find yourself feeling angry, just remember how cute I am.

    My parents’ cat used to do the same thing. My mom said it was good for anxiety, though. She’d punch the cushions back into shape. :0)

    My dog and cat have created the same flat spot on our couch!! Soo cute!! :)

    OMG I have a lil dachshund at home named Bella and she does the same thing to my couch!!!

    My 40 lb Border Collie does the same exact thing! LOL. Thankfully, the couch she likes to perch on (my boyfriend’s) is firm at the top, so she doesn’t do much flattening, but the one time she tried to do that on my couch (similar model to yours), she fell down the back of it and got her legs stuck in the fold-away mattress. That was fun…
