Every year since Michael and I moved in together in 2005, we’ve sent out photo Christmas cards to family and friends. I think. And every year, our list gets longer and longer.
Back in the day, the card consisted of a nice photo of the two of us that we had snapped sometime during the [...]
It was such a nice 5-day weekend. The thought of going back to work tomorrow depresses me, but it’s crazy to think that Christmas is only three weeks away! With all of the shopping and preparation that needs to happen, and all of the “stuff” going on… I’m sure it’ll fly by.
We had a [...]
Halloween was here before we knew it, and then it went by in a flash.
I never even took “official” pics of Nora in her costume, and Vivienne never even wore one, even though she had two available to her. Mommy fail. But that’s what happens when you have two kids and return to work [...]
When we found out I was pregnant with Nora, it was a Tuesday morning, and it just so happened that we had plans to see Michael’s family that following Saturday. We decided right away that we were going to tell our news to our families—just parents and siblings—at the first opportunity, so we baked [...]
So, Christmas. I’m so totally over it. Our tree and other decorations came down on New Year’s Day, and by then I was DYING to rip it all out. But for the sake of posterity, I am going to take a little trip down memory lane, to a day that seems like it was months [...]
AboutI'm Heather. I'm 31 and have been married to Michael for five years. Together, we have two beautiful little girls we love more than anything, and a miniature dachshund who drives us crazy. I'm a full-time working mom who has very little time for my own "stuff" these days, like home improvement, cooking/baking, cake decorating, and photography. Despite the team not making the playoffs since 1999, I'm STILL a Buffalo Bills fan, which I think speaks to my loyalty AND sense of humor. I can't wait to pick up the pace with travel again some day... you know, when we're done being ruled by tiny fists. Welcome to my blog.
